Welcome to my portfolio website! Here, you'll find an in-depth look at my resume, experiences, and projects.
As a Network Support Specialist Intern at U-Haul, I provided technical support to field technicians, troubleshooting network issues related to IP addressing, routing, switching, security, and wireless systems. I worked with Cisco Meraki equipment, diagnosing and resolving connectivity problems, and ensured minimal downtime. My role required strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to handle real-time networking challenges in a fast-paced environment.
As a GRC Intern I conducted in-depth assessments and documentation of global security standards, aligning them with NIST 800-53 control guidelines to strengthen organizational compliance. I collaberated with others and designed and developed interactive compliance assessment tools for frameworks including PCI-DSS, ENS, StateRAMP, and FedRAMP. As well as evaluated GRC frameworks, identified risks, and proposed mitigation strategies to enhance compliance and reduce vulnerabilities in collaborative team environments. Analyzed GRC frameworks, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies. Collaborated with teams to enhance compliance processes and reduce vulnerabilities
Working in the IT Support department I provided comprehensive troubleshooting for MacOS and Windows environments, including software installations, updates, and compatibility issues, reducing downtime for users. Administered and managed user access controls, ensuring strict compliance with company security protocols. Investigated and resolved website-related errors across university-owned .edu domains, enhancing the user experience and operational efficiency. Managed ticketing workflows using Zendesk, creating, updating, and escalating tickets as necessary to achieve rapid issue resolution.
I built a virtual home lab using VirtualBox to gain hands-on cybersecurity experience. The lab featured two VMs: one running Ubuntu Linux and the other Windows 11, with internal networks configured for communication. I enhanced my scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash while practicing malware analysis, endpoint security, and email security in a sandboxed environment. Using tools like CyberChef, Wireshark, tcpdump, Snort, and Splunk, I analyzed network traffic, detected anomalies, and managed logs. This project sharpened my technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of secure configurations and threat detection.

I developed Python scripts to filter and aggregate data from PCAP files, enhancing my understanding of network traffic analysis and cybersecurity workflows. Using libraries like Scapy and PyShark, I parsed PCAP files, identified key protocols, and extracted details like IP addresses, ports, and timestamps. The scripts summarized TCP conversations, top protocols, and other statistics, automating tasks that streamline packet analysis. This project deepened my understanding of networking concepts, improved my Python skills, and provided hands-on experience with real-world cybersecurity data. By automating data analysis, I demonstrated my ability to create tools for intrusion detection, threat hunting, and troubleshooting network environments.
